President Donald Trump signed a $300-billion energy bill Thursday that will help drive more production and investment in the U.S. economy.
The measure also boosts production from existing oil and gas fields by nearly 20 percent.
The bill also aims to boost U.K. energy production by up to $5 billion and boost the U,S.
shale oil production by 10 percent.
The bill also directs the Interior Department to study ways to make the Keystone XL Pipeline more energy-efficient.
The legislation also increases funding for the National Endowment for the Arts.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Thursday.
